This is my first time taking an art class since middle school. That being said, the Thumbnail assignment was an interesting and challenging first exercise to understand the various depths and textures of numerous objects that can be brought out through art using different mediums or equipment. My favorite three pieces are the bottom left, top middle, and bottom right. For the one on the bottom left, the materials I used for this piece were the sharpie and the red and white color sticks.
